Hey! well - as with all travels, our plans have taken a swift turn. Even though the plan was to be in mumbai for a while and then check out something close by,...that's not exactly what happened...on the 15th, we were supposed to star in another bollywood movie, but right when we were about to leave, the scene we were gonna shoot got cancelled (the lead man had had an injury the day before) and so we had to change plans. i think the biggest reason why we left mumbai was the extremely stuffy hotel we were staying in. there was no air circulation, and there were shared bathrooms which turned out to be windowless boxes which made you hotter than you were when you decided to take the 'refreshing shower'. so when the movie was ... read more

R & I Went to Anjuna flea market. Lots of hard sell - bought loads of ethnic stuff (as you predicted Jeannie!). Anjuna was just like Camden market without the rain - it was as if it had been parachuted down from the sky - same clothes, wall hangings ethnic nic-naks, same people, music, scene... I guess this is the original though - just all the clothes remined me of camden even though they're from India originally. Bought a sari for £5.00 - bargain! Spent the rest of the day on the beach sunbathing, drinking sodas and swimming in the sea - fantastic! Not bad birthday at all considerihg I'm now 31! One little girl said i looked 25 - mind you, she was trying to sell me something at the time... gotta dash. am going ... read more

Aah, the sweet smell of India.... That's the first thing that hits you as soon as you step off the plane. We've had no problems whatsoever since we got here.... Delhi was way too hectic for a small town boy like Erik, so after 3 hours in Delhi, we headed to Agra, which was a four hour drive by a crazy tour guide called Hari, who drove at 100mph. We did the obligational touristy stuff such as Taj Mahal and the Red Fort (not to be underestimated), then we took a bumpy 34 hour train ride to Goa where we are now spending our lazy days chillin, riding scooters, partying, beaching and shopping at late night flea markets in the company of our Swedish friends Thor and Marika. Goa seems to be cool so far... Photos ... read more

No takole. Novo leto sva prezivela. Bolj ali manj. Praznovali smo na plazi, folka se je kar nabralo in bil je koma party. Ogromno ljudi, tujcev in domacinov, vse ceste so bile zabasane. In to ni edini primer. Plaza skoraj prazna, naokoli so palme, pesek... Nekaj takega kot Zipolite v Mexicu. Najin dnevni ritual poteka ... read more

It was a huge sleeper bus and quite ideal for us in the circumstances. The trip flew by and we settled for the next few days in Anjuna. We took in the Market in Anjuna which had traders from all over India and tourists from all over Europe it seemed. Settling at the Guru bar near the beach for a few days was a great way to get away from it all.... read more
