... on to the UK ... on to the UK ... on to the UK

...anticipating another adventure!
Three days before takeoff ...just a bit anxious but keep telling myself on this trip all the languages to be encountered are familiar ... no mandarin in sight.

One friend will bring me to Toronto. Another will drive me to the airport. Have to find a third friend to pick me up on Jan 10/18.

The cabin by the lake has been shut down for winter. The harvest of four green tomatoes, three curly cukes, one green bean and some fantastic lima bean plants have been picked prepared and eaten ..ha ha ha ... really did eat the stuff.... not the lima plantas!

My little Pontiac hatchback will be safe under the carport at my sister's house. The apartment nest is tidy and cluttered but cute and comfy. All electricity will be shut off and the water tank will have its breaker thrown. ... and still there will be a bill for electricity!

Have been watching Knowledge Channel's Grand Tour of Scotland ... https://www.knowledge.ca/program/grand-tours-scotland. This trip will include the most northern isle of Scotland, the most western and most eastern points of England ... was at south end the last time ... the year of the London

...no bugs, no rain, no work (inside the screen tent) fantastic to have such a small paradise
Olympics and all not previously visited point of my interest. Sorry forgot to book Glasgow and Macintosh :-(.

Then some days in Paris and by Nov. 25 in Innsbruck, Austria to spend time with a good friend. All will be revealed. Sorry that everyone was left stranded on Newfoundland's shore last summer. By writing shorter it is hoped that this adventure will earn an end.

And above all ...please let the notebook survive! Number one frizzled on the Yantze. Number two died in Newfoundland. Number three better make to the end of January .... floating on a cloud this time ... getting just a bit smarter!

For this trip the blogs will be short and the pictures sublime... quality not quantity. ... ;-) ...well ... most of the time ;-)

Let the adventure begin ... getting while the getting is good... no solitaire on an i-pad for me!!!!!
