Another week has passed and with that another weekend has too. It was another great weekend of fantastic weather. Friday night I went out with some fellow English teachers and a few Korean teachers. We started out with some Korean BBQ and then made our way to a bar. After the bar we ended up at a Noraebang to sing some jams. I didn’t get home until 4am. Haha… It was one of the latest nights I’ve had in a very long time. But fun none the less.

On Saturday I went with a couple of my buddies in to Seoul. Dave, Jon and I went to the 63 Building (63 빌딩). The 63 Building has, as you may have guessed, 63 floors. There are a bunch of things to do in the 63 Building. There is an IMAX, an aquarium, a wax museum, and much more. My friends and I made our way to the top floor to see the view. The weather was great so we were able to see an outstanding view of Seoul and the Han River. After a handful of hours at the 63 Building, we headed to the Gangnam

area to hang out with our Korean buddy, Stan, at his place to watch some Korean baseball playoffs. After the game, and several beers, we headed to Apgujeong (압구정동). We hit up a bar that has a stage with a band set up where you can sing karaoke with or without the instruments. It’s a decent place, but we were pretty much the only ones there so we had the pace to ourselves. Since the night was still relatively young, we finally headed to Sincheon(신천동) to our lamb BBQ place for some good food, Aladdin’s Lamb. A great way to finish off the night!

On Sunday, Dave and I ate at Mr. Pho for some Vietnamese Pho noodle soup. It’s by far the best things to eat after a night of drinking. Not to mention it’s phenomenal tasting! After eating Dave headed back to his home and I did some laundry. Later that afternoon, I headed in to Itaewon (이태원동) to look for some Halloween costumes. Unfortunately I didn’t find one, but on the bright side I got to eat some amazing Thai red curry. Spicy and

delicious! Then it was back to my neck of the woods to hang out with my lady friend. And that was my weekend in a nut shell.

The weather has been cooling down here and I’m hoping it can hold out for a few more weeks before it starts to really get cold. We shall see.

This is my short cut walk to E-Mart, where I buy groceries. It's a little bit of forest in the city.
