Mt Battie Drive
Great road to the summit We started the day with a drive to the top of Mount Battie in Camden. On top of the mountain were great views of the mountains, the harbor, and city of Camden. Possibly the best colors of the trip were here at the summit. stopped and walked around at Jordan pond. Stopped at the lake, the Precipice trail (which we would have hiked if we had better gear), the sandy beach, and thunder hole.
We went back to Bar Harbor and ate dinner at Stewmans Lobster Pound, which was right on the ocean. We both had lobster rolls, which were delicious of course.
