I am glad you are getting to explore the northeast and specifically New England. The foliage looked awesome. Your trip and pictures reminded me of my childhood growing up in Montpelier, VT and taking trips to Maine. I have been to many of the places you went. Perhaps when it gets a little warmer you can go to upstate NY and take the ferry across Lake Champlain from Plattsburgh to Burlington, VT. It is a cool little college town (Univ. of VT) on the lake. From there you could head north through the islands and explore Montreal which is not too far away.
I am looking forward to reading about your Peru trip and enjoying your great pictures.
