Sunday = Lazy Day

I knew from the minute my eyes opened that my mentality for the rest of the day was 'can't be arsed doing anything.' The good thing about being here is that i've got 8 months to see everything, whereas in Japan I had to cram it all into 2 weeks! So I knew by doing nothing all day seemed like a damn good idea. Plus at home I always used my sundays to chill the hell out, and I don't see how changing area codes should affect that! So I read in bed for ages. Went to our sushi place but felt so ill from the night before I couldn't eat it. Then I laid in bed some more.

And more.

And pretty much most the day until I thought it was probably time to stretch my legs! Marc had been craving to show us his 'favourite place in Sydney' ever since we arrived so finally we took a stroll down to Darling Harbour. The name itself is just adorable, and the place is gorgeous. Absolutely stunning in fact! My favourite area of Sydney by far. It was nice to walk, especially in the sun. We took a detour and went through Hyde Park on the way back. Sat down on the grass watching some semi naked australians playing football. I promise that's not the reason we sat in that spot.. HA! Also there were some cuteashell Chinese people nearby taking an English class on the grass. They kept singing silly songs and then clapping and shouting afterwards, so sweet! We then strolled some more, and headed onto Oxford Street. There is a bar there Marc had heard about, and apparently if you pay $4 for a drink you get an entire meal with it. So really you're paying £2 for a meal and drink, not bad! The barman was cute, couldn't work out if he was gay or not.. he was from Liverpool and had a certain swagger about him. I approved. Did I just say swagger? Kill me now. Soooo the meal wasn't great, you're paying cheap so you're gonna get cheap but can't really complain for that price. Plus Zoe got another drink so Marc had ANOTHER meal the greedy bastard. Also get unlimited salad with every meal which is cool.

Came back to the hostel and just collapsed with some of the other hostellers. Drank some goon and sat talking with them until some sort of stupid o clock in the morning, good times.
