The Weather

Today is my one month anniversary of my arrival in Mexico and I just wanted to say.....duh duh duuuuuh! It rained today!! for the first time since i got here!! A whole five minutes of rain spitting down from the sky and then the sun was out again!! He he he maybe the rainy season has begun!!!

Another thing I forgot to mention yesterday - Alix and I have discovered that we are in fast food land! Within a ten minute walk from the Hogar there is a McDonals, a Pizza Hut, a KFC and several fast chicken places!!! oh and a Wal Mart! :D

Anyhooo off to bed now!! Its Friday and I can sleep in tomorrow!! Yey!!
I ran out of books of my own to read (except the depressing one about life in Mexico City), I even finished my Spanish book so now guess what I'm reading....Alix's book in French!! It's interesting to see just how similar spanish and french are and I'm managing to read it pretty well with a little help from alix's french to spanish dictionary!!! he he he!!
