After a little difficulty entering Turkey I went straight to Istanbul. I had planned to move around Turkey a bit to see as much as I could but there was just so much to see in Istanbul I decided to take the time and really enjoy the city. As almost all tourists I stayed in Sultanahmet which is next to two of the most amazing Mosques I have ever seen, the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. I met up with my buddy Neil again and we spent 5 days searching the city for any-and-everything new and exciting. From Fishing on the Bosphorus to having tea in a carpet shop watching a lady work on a silk carpet that will take 3 years to complete. One of the best things was catching a ferry in the Europe and arriving in Asia 15 minutes later. Istanbul is as exotic as you always imagine it to be and more.

I cannot believe the beauty you are sharing. I am just loving your blog. what I really enjoy are seeing countries that I would not even think of visiting before, like Istanbul, and now wanting to go. You should become a world director of tourism! LC
