The view from the roof of our abode in Sayulita, haven't had a party on the roof yet but there's still plenty of time!
Well, I've actually been in Sayulita for a few days now, we got here on sunday amidst awful rain. We were soaked and we decided to stay cheap at the old hostel, we couldn't do any better since it was sunday and everything was closed plus nobody was out and about due to the rain. we went for thanksgiving dinner on the beach, ate lots and met some guys from vancouver. these guys are hilarious, two brothers and stuntmen, lots of stories etc. they told us of the place they were staying and highly reccomended it, so we went back to the hostel with beer and tequilla to drown our sorrows after calling home and hearing about the dinners we were missing out on.

so we played cards by the pool and realized we had to drink even more just so that we could fall asleep head to toe to head in what was about a queen sized bed (two tiny beds pushed together) so that really sucked. jord was booted in the head at some point in the night, he woke up early and went surfing monday

ry and i joined him and we found the stuntbrothers and they hooked us up with their place, way nicer there so we just r&r'd for the afternoon and cooked some quesedillas and then hit the town, found them at a bar so we drank there and moved onto another bar, basically just with all the alcy locals but we had fun, headed back to our place and partied there a bit longer. these guys have some hilarious stories, cursing their jobs and complaining about falling down metal staircases in the rain 5 times just for one decent cut... anyways, the rest of the time here has basically been just what i described but in repetition.... wake up about noon, make our way to steve's for breakfast (guy from vancouver who worked at roxy burger and works at a restaurant on the beach here) big bacon and eggs for 40 pesos, then to the surf and sun, read a bit or whatever on the beach, head back for showers, naps, swim in the pool or whatever, then back out for dinner... we had a feast last night for 150 pesos was great

then out to a bar or back to our pool with tequilla to play cards or whatever, then wake up and do it over again

the situation is great but i think we'll continue south on friday, in any case it's cheap here, 100 pesos each for the room and then maybe 100 more for food and whatever, so it's a great situation. the ladies that run our place are from arizona and have lots of advice on what to do in escondido and the drive south, so the chiapas is calling our names so we'll be out of here at some point.

Anyways, i'll post again soon, didn't even bring my camera this time to post any pictures but i know you all want some so i'll do my best to put something together soon.
