Welcome back My how you young men have grown up. Thank you so much for sharing your trip. It seem not that long ago we all met in Sayulita. Like your mom (s). I'm glad you are home safe. I hope we meet again someday. Be well, Carolyn
Well done you!! Hey Jason,
I along with lots of other people it seems have enjoyed your blog completely. I only started reading about half way through but caught up with all the previous ones. I started looking through the travel blog site because I myself am going travelling in May. Not too long until I go now. I am not going to as many far out places as you did. I am going to Hong Kong, Singapore, Fiji, Cook Islands, OZ, NZ, Peru and LA working my way up the west coast of the US finally ending in Vancouver where I will be staying for a year or so using a work visa i have managed to get a job etc. Any advice on finding an apartment/getting a job will be appareciated or even to meet for a beer at some point and talk more about your travels! jaymescadby@hotmail.com. Anyway thanks again for the entertainment of reading your blog it was good fun and made me feel alot more relaxed about going.

itchy feet jason-it has been a pleasure to share and enjoy your adventures-you have become a marvelous story teller and i look forward to seeing you in person and gleaming some "travel ideas" from your vast experiences-hmm bolivia you say-stay safe and we look forward to crossing paths in the future-many thanks craig and dee
Truly Amazing No, we haven't met in some far flung destination and shared compelling experiences or stories. I just think it is appropriate to give credit when credit is due and thank you for doing what you do while sharing it with us readers. You must have spanned the emotions and colors possible in this world on your journey. You've brought us to both what your eyes have seen and what your mind reads...and so exciting it is. You are a living encyclopedia of your own journey and when the "normalcy" of home life begins to frighten you, seek the encyclopedia of your loved ones, trusted strangers, and the unwritten book before you. Congratulations Mr. Lush.
Sincerely,
Brent Rademacher

...I think I'm depressed now I have thoroughly enjoyed your travels and hope that you don't stop travelling (though I can understand that a short break might be in order). You, Ryan, Liam, Charlie and James have all influenced me greatly and made me realize that travel is possible and that if I don't do it I will severely regret it. I am actually kinda saddened that you are back home. I had a bit of a personal hope that you'd keep travelling through the ages carrying home in your heart (yeah, i know selfish of me...)
So. Here's to No regrets.

Thanks for the Brilliant Stories and photos I felt a touch of sadness when I read your title 'the end'. I am one of your avid blog readers. I first stumbled across your blog when searching for my son's who is also travelling the world right now. I have followed yours as well as his and at times your paths nearly crossed. In fact at Christmas I nearly crossed paths with you myself on Rantee beach, Phi Phi. It's a small world.
I'm sure your family are thrilled to have you home. I am excitedly waiting for my son to return home in 12 days time after a year away.
Thanks to your inspiration, we are now planning our own trip!
Continue to enjoy life, thanks again for some wonderful stories and photos.

Explenation There are a lot of straps on my bag, I guess they worried those would cause problems on the belts. I have a pack cover though so after adjusting that they said it would be OK.
makes me sick man, i saw you maybe 6 months ago in egypt, and STILL you're travelling... what were you born with a silver spoon up your ahole?
if you get up to scotland drop me a line mate, know some wicked peope in glasgow and edinburgh who'd be happy to put you up.
enjoy mate.
Love the descriptions of the toilets and your bowel movements in all of your blog entries... wouldn't be the same without it! We will never forget being told not to enter the bathroom at the restaurant where we had lunch on Ryan's birthday the morning after you consumed an entire pig! Thanks for sharing! But we do miss you!
hola hola amigo que paso contigo? estoy a mi trabajo, tengo mucho aburrido. Ok dropping back to the mother tongue, glad to see you enjoyed laos, but am sure i would have told you venture north from luang prabang, up the nam ou to ngong kiew, then futher up towards Muang Ngoi. Truly the best place in laos, and i hear the better it gets the further up north you go.
Trying to remember that mud mission, and i think it was october 2005. Damn so far. Glad to read your still on the road. Been back in uk since july 06, working now, shit, bought a house, the tentacles of possesions rstricting my future movements may have begun. Hell, could be getting married soon. Trying to avoid that situation... but yes, rock on brother.
haha you looked like Fry (ahora sin pielo) :-D
Great! Sawadi Krab! (probably didn't spell it right)... very cool pictures and story! How much did you pay to get there? If you don't mind me asking....

Zanzi flashback Dude! You are still traveling??? I met you on Zanzibar with Louisa (we were working in Uganda). You have been on a crazy long trip. Anyway I´m traveling again too (although I´ve since been home and worked for 6 months to rebuild the old finances). I´m in Nicaragua now. I seem to remember that you became ill here. Yeah, sorry fo that. Isla de Ometpe is sweet !
inspiring As I get on a midnight plane to SE Asia w/next week being Chiang Mai, I have been thinking of Laos. I really want to go while I'm up north. If I can get a direct flight to Luang Prabang from CM, I'll do it! Your blog really gave me a quick start in that direction.
thanks!
