On route from San Diego to Parker, Arizona
Well what a town, or should we say "Light Show". We arrived in Vegas on the 5th of Feb.

After we left San Diego we hit the freeway once again and made our way into Arizona. We stopped in a little town called Parker. There was an influx of people for a Desert Race and there was very little Accommodation. We managed to find a place and then checked out the local Casino.

The sun rises and we hit the road yet again bound for a little town called Williams on the famous Route 66. We dropped our luggage off in our hotel and went strait to the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon's name justifies the site, we have seen pictures and video's, but you really have to be there to appreciate the full scale of this mammoth hole in the ground. (one big surprise is that the south rim is around 8000 feet high, and there was snow everywhere)

We wasted no time to hit that road again bound for Fabulous Las Vegas via The Hoover Dam.

Checked into our hotel, Alexis Resort and Spa. We wandered the streets and saw the shows, WOW!, each

That night we checked out a little nightclub called ICE. It was a special event that night, we asked why and were told Jenna Jameson was the special guest. We bought tickets....

What a Club, Piccy's speak for themselves

We still don't understand the NFL but we watched the whole Superbowl in the MGM Grand. The whole 4 hours of the bastard...... We don't understand it but the last 2 minutes went for 1/2 an hour.

This is where Az left us for a 10 hour stint in LA airport before heading back to Sydney. Rohan and I checked out the Luxor, Mandalay Bay and other fine casinos in the area. We are proud to say that we have been to Las Vegas and come out $50 up!!. We fly out to seattle today.
