In Transit
Somewhere between Las Vegas and San José We have just arrived in beautiful Vancouver by bus from Whistler.
After we left Las Vegas, we flew to Seattle via San José. Seattle was a nice town. Rohan was sick when we arrived so I headed out myself to explore. I checked out the Space Needle and a bit of Seattle Center.
I was having lunch in a food court and saw a flier on a piece of the Berlin Wall that was on display and thought that might be pretty cool to see. I asked a gentlemen at an ice cream palor where the museum was because I want to see the berlin wall. He looked at me strange and said it's right behind you. So there you go an amazing piece of hisotry sitting in a food court in Seattle Centre.
The next night we had dinner in the Space Needle. It was probably the most expensive we have had on the trip but it's not everyday I'm in Seattle so we thought why not. We caught the train the next day bound for Vancouver. The train trip was about 4 hours and very relaxing. The scenery on the way up was beautiful.
We
Seattle!
A shot of the famous Space Needle have been snowboarding for the last week in Whistler, unfortunately, I stuffed my leg the second day and missed out on most of the skiing. It was all good, I found a few things to do to entertain myself like going ziptrekking. Which is where you get strapped into a harness n zip on lines over the Fitsimmons creek. It was great. Whistler has had the worst season in 30 years so we had around the same amount of snow as we do in Australia 😊 But it was still fun, we just needed a little more powder. Whistler it self is a nice little town, a true alpine village.
So now we are going to check out Vancouver.
