Its got a rep as a party hostel with a famous pub crawl. Kenyon kenyon Post Count: 10 Msg: #3 1547 days ago, September 10th 2005 | I'm guessing you are flying via Ryanair. It's great how reasonable their prices are! | It sounds like the hour and a half long bus ride is the best option: Girona Airport Barcelona I hope this helps! You should have no problem finding plenty of hostels to choose from. One tip is to start off by only reading the 4 and 5 star hostels. Often, there is a reason why the others have lower reviews :). Kenyon BestofEurope.org Sunshine2005 Maria Post Count: 9 Msg: #5 1500 days ago, October 27th 2005 | Hello you, | I'm not sure if you have been already to Barcelona, but I can recommend you a good homepage where you find great accommodation at reasonable prices and with discounts. Go and check out the following page: http://www.barcelonapoint.com/en/aparments.html It's not a youth hostel or anything, but you can find very cheap apartments, close to public transport and very central and you will have more privacy! Yesornot Kvenker Post Count: 1 Msg: #6 1487 days ago, November 8th 2005 | Hostal in Spanish is not a hostel (youth hostel) but some kind of small decent family hotel o pension, or residence, notably cheaper then a classic hotel, sometime a truly boutique. I’d like to recommend you some different in the Born area, safe and not so tourist as the Ramblas zone: arthostal.com and hostalribagorza.com. The difference is obvious but the prices equal. Good luck! Especially if you have something to do with the world of the arts. | defcon dee Post Count: 2 Msg: #7 1434 days ago, December 31st 2005 | do not use kabul if you want to get any sleep used it in may and december this year noisie drunks all night x2 | defcon dee Post Count: 2 Msg: #8 1434 days ago, December 31st 2005 | kabul=no sleep noise all night | royal blue Alison Tyrell Post Count: 4 Msg: #9 1117 days ago, November 14th 2006 | Hi, I'm not looking for a hostel, more of a fancy apartment. I'd prefer it to belong to an agency with a reputation rather than just an individual owner (unless the owner has postings of high acclaim!. If you are thinking of a short term apartment try www.Rent-City-Apartments.com. there are lots of different prices, locations and sizes. royal blue Alison Tyrell Post Count: 4 Msg: #14 706 days ago, December 30th 2007 | Hi, I actually did stay in kabul in the end - just for the one night - we stayed in a hotel for the rest of the stay. So thanks for the tips. It was clean, functional and fair for the price. I would not stay again, but only because I think as you get older you just want a few more home comforts and I can afford to spend a bit more now. But if I was back in student days, I would have found this to be fantastic for my needs. So I'd recommend Kabul to anyone on a budget. | Number of Users: 11 | Number of Posts: 14 | ||||||||||||||||||||||
