I'd like to reccomend my flat to anyone that't thinking of moving here for a while
I don't mean this to be an advert, but I'd like to recommend my flat to anyone planning on moving to Sydney in February.
Me and my girldfriend wanted somewhere near the beach for a few months and found this place in Bronte. It's small, with no living room, but light and airy and 10 mins to the beach. The appeal for us was that the eastern suburbs (ie beaches) are where Sydney stands out from other cities. Otherwise we might as well be in any other city. Added to that, we found Bondi to be a bit of a dive, but further down the coast it's a bit nicer.
I found it through a property finder website, but would happily recommend it to anyone that's interested. The landlady's firm but fair!
If you want details, let me know and I'll pass them on. We've been here 5 months and it's been ideal.
Reply to this HI,
I hope to rent a flat when I get to Oz, but not until May/June (sorry - not much use to you). How much would I be looking to spend for a ideal sounding flat such as the one you are offering?
Reply to this Hi,
How much are you currently paying? And how long does it take to get to downtown Sydney by public transit?
I'm moving to Sydney March 2 and will be looking for a place to stay for a few months.
Thanks!
Reply to this Same questions here. Any picture images available to give us a better idea of what it is we will be renting?
What is your minimum and maximum rental time? Costs will be a major consideration and your date of departure is critical, as we should meet up BEFORE you leave to get the 'in stuff' on where to go, see and do.
Car rental necessary, and if so, what is the rate? Will American dollars do, now that they are almost worthless thanks to George Bush. No wonder so many people want to leave the USA.
