Inside of the Hagia Sophia


Hagia Sophia (Turkish: Ayasofya) is a former patriarchal basilica, later a mosque, now a museum, in Istanbul, Turkey. I think Hagia Sophia Sophia must be in the 7 wonders of the World because of its history..

Because no-one knows exactly how to pronounce it's name!

But it does look v. nice. Then again, looks awfully similar to The Alhambra, Spain.

I'd love to visit it and learn about it's history more... Reply to this
