Is Sweden worth visiting ...?

hi.... i will be in sweden/stokholm 2nd week of August... is it worth going there ?? what to see there? do they have good nightlife...? can i find travel partner there who speaks english...?

I can tell you one thing, if you are interested in visiting Sweden, August is a very good time to do it. The late summer offers fairly good chances for warm and sunny weather, and Stockholm shines in summertime, although there will be lots of tourists and depending on your budget maybe a bit pricey. Most visitor attractions close down partially or in whole during the autumn and winter, and the weather will be bleak, rainy and dark.

Finding people who speak English will not be a problem, we are schooled in the language since an early grade. Most visitors come to Sweden for the unspoilt nature, camping, hiking, canoeing, moose-watching(!), architecture, museums and the arts. There is also shopping and clubbing to some extent, although there are probably better places for this. I suggest having a look around the travelblogs and photos for Sweden and Stockholm to get a better idea if it could be something for you.
