Must Sees in Oslo
16 years ago, May 19th 2007 No: 1 Msg: #14086
Hi, We are going to Oslo for 3 days next week. Any tips for places to see and things to do? We like to get out, walk and get a little off the beaten track. I'm not anticipating Oslo to be over touristed anyway...is this true? Thanks EdAm. Reply to this

The Wiking Ship Museum

The Folk Museum (lies next to the Wiking Ship Museum)

The Kon Tiki Museum (lies close to the two otheres)

Theese three museums lies on an island. You can take the bus here (bus number 30) from for example the main train station, but more fun and nicer is taking the ferry from the waterfront behind the city hall.

The national Gallery

The Vigeland Park

Holmenkollen

If the wheater is fine, a nice trip can be to one of the small islands in the Oslofjord. There's an island there full of rabbits.

Oslo is not very touristed. Reply to this
