The Sorrento/ Almalfi Coasts are great, Florence, and Rome are course great places. Florence and Rome are very "tourist", but I enjoyed both stops. I loved Paris and Nice, but havent traveled much more then that in France. Reply to this

for something different try out Puglia which is down in the heal of Italy. It's cheap, culturally diverse and has crystal clear turqoise waters. Positano is also a wonderful place to stay but it's pricey but you might be able to get some cheap accommodation here Positano apartments

Venice, Rome and Florence are well trod paths as is Paris but you could try the mountains and cities such as Chamonix are great both in the winter and summer. Reply to this

Italy is so diverse, most people really enjoy Tuscany (Pisa, Florence, Sienna etc)...
is a great site for getting to know more about what Tuscany has to offer
