Do you prefer to read blogs about places you've never been and dream of going?
Do you prefer to read blogs about places you have traveled to and walk down memory lane?
Do you prefer to read blogs by a blogger you enjoy reading no matter where they've been or where they go?
Reply to this I don't get time to read many blogs these days but, when I do, I mostly enjoy those with humour. They're usually the ones which aren't of the 'we went here today' variety, but are more off-the-wall, describing interesting or funny things that happened to the writer.
However, when planning future trips, I'll read anything and everything about the places I expect to visit. Blogs contain information from personal experience and have often led me to places not mentioned in the guide books.
Of course, those bloggers who I follow get their blogs read by me regardless of content!

Mike,
I agree with you that I like funny blogs great but I find they are hard to come by.
I do find the blogs very helpful when planning future travel and getting ideas.
I really enjoy reading your blogs. Eager for your next adventure. MJ
Reply to this I tend to read blogs about places I've been to, to compare other people's experience with mine. I also read blogs about places I'm planning to go soon, to get ideas. When things get really stressful and wanderlust hits, I read some of my old blogs, just to reminisce about the fun I've had on the road.
