Sending digital pics home

Looking for the best way to store/send digital pics home for us to sort out when we get back

Hi,
We're about to start a RTW trip and wanted to ask for advice on what to do with our digital pics...current ideas are burning them onto CD's (either by taking a laptop or using photo stores) and posting a few home every so often or using an internet storage site. What are you doing? Do you know any good websites with enough storage for the amount of photos we will be taking? Is there a site where you can download your photos onto CDs when you return? Does it take forever to upload photos onto the net in an internet cafe abroad!?
