Just wondering what should I expect to spend daily on a solo trip through western Europe, avoiding any unnecessary expenses
I've been finding hostels for 25 euros, on average, across the Schengen countries (most of western Europe, not including Britain/Ireland). Then I added an extra 75 euros for food and traveling around at the cities I end up visiting. Is this too much? It feels way too much for me. That is not even including the possibility of buying a rail pass (I am going for 4 weeks). Some money saving tips from experienced travelers would be great. Thanks!
