First time on here, just trying to get some advice on a trip to Moscow in April & accomodation advice.
Anybody got any cheap hotel suggestions in the center? Are hostels a good idea?
Any help would be most appreciated.

Reply to this A lot of new hostels have opened in Moscow in the past 12 months. I think Napoleon Hostel is the best but they only have dorm beds there ($25). If you want a private room then Home Hostel is a good option (about $70 for a private room). Really, hostels are your best bet. There are no cheap hotels in the center of Moscow anymore.
