Reply to this Dave, I adore the Spencer Davis Group, but my all time favourite has to be Gimme Some Lurvin....
Anyway, I recall posting this track on another board, but it is so sublimely chilled out that I am going to put it here too......

Reply to this Don Ellis is one of my favourite composers, who among other things, wrote the great if somewhat quirky soundtrack to one of the best movies of all time 'The French Connection'. This track evokes memories of an era now sadly, long gone.........
Reply to this And from the chilled out to some classic rock. Def Leppard, seemed to just appear out of nowhere and then just as quickly disappeared after releasing their Pyromania and hugely successful Hysteria albums. The death of lead guitarist Steve Clark no doubt had something to do with this. Every track on this album is superb and I'd like to list them all, but in the spirit of board etiquette, I will restrict myself to two.....

Another classic from the 80s by Don Henley. This is a cover version as there doesn't seem to be an original on YouTube, but it is almost as good 😊
