Right, it seems that the Dancing One has done a bunk and gone AWOL so I'm officially declaring B closed and C open 😊

Dancing Dave says:

NEW WEEK...NEW LETTER...THIS WEEK.

C contains some of the best singers and groups in existence, in my opinion anyway, so without further ado, I bring you the British answer to Earth, Wind and Fire......Cymande...(Dave, I hope you like this track with its blend of funk and African rock)

A double C whammy with a singer that has always been rather underrated as far as I'm concerned.......

and of course, which C would be complete with the wonderful music of The Corrs (I think this version even beats Fleetwood Mac's original)

Right, I'm off to engage in some serious knee rubbing :D

I'll continue posting Australian bands, and here is one that I'd rate in the top three to come out of the country - Cold Chisel - and the tune considered in many polls as the greatest Australian song of all time. Reply to this

I saw these guys in London back in 1991, and this was one of their best songs live; I present to you The Cult.

Cold Chisel??? Never mind, it's great stuff Shane. That's what I love about this thread. You get introduced to bands, singers and music that you never even knew existed.....Oh and there was me thinking that this song was one of the greatest Australian songs of all time 😉

Anyway, moving swiftly back to the letter C....

Not many people would associate Norway with hard rock, but Conception is a blend of the two...and superb they are too....

Heard this band play live last year, and they sounded fantastic - Chicago - one of the best group of musicians to come out of the US. Reply to this

Three great songs Dave, although I do think Phil Collins was better with Genesis. I particularly love the Jimmy Cliff song 😊

Now for another great group....
