Music Travel & Festivals

Have you taken a trip to attend a music festival, attend a concert or specifically listen to music?

Music is one way to experience the culture of a country. We often go to concerts while traveling. Hearing local music in a church, a cafe, a bar, in a park or a concert hall allows one to better understand the local people. Music speaks to the soul.
We've heard some amazing performances in churches in Italy and Armenia. We've seen street performers around the world.

I'd love to hear your stories. Please share. Reply to this

I've never planned a trip to attend a music event. I have included music events in broader trips, though, and occasionally arranged my schedule to make one. Here's one example, Movement Detroit:

Children of the Night, Step Into the Light

Our architect for the rebuilding of our house in 2000 introduced me to this guy and this fabulous track and gave me 2 CDs of his fabulous music.
