Hello.

I am planning a trip to New Zealand during August which I know is there winter. Do you have any tips/information on what New Zealand is like during winter, what sort of clothing is needed and places to visit.

I will be staying in Auckland for a little while and then will be travelling around.

Thank you for any help Reply to this

Hi Kerry,

Welcome to TravelBlog.

There's a big difference in temperature and weather conditions from one end of the country to the other. You can see heavy snow at one end, and people sitting on beaches at the other. This may have an impact on where you decide to travel, or how long you stay in a certain area.
Here's some info on average weather conditions around NZ.

I'm in Auckland, so let me know if you need any info for your stay here.
