Finding cheapest petrol on route?

We are going to drive from the UK to Germany. Is there a way/app etc. to find cheapest petrol?

Hello everyone

My husband and I are going to drive from the UK to Germany on the 29th of April. I would love to know if there is any (iphone, tomtom or internet) application that I could use to always find the cheapest petrol in the area? I am sick of paying loads more on one service station and then drive past the next one to find out I could have saved loads.

We will be driving in France (from Dunkirk) through Belgium, Netherland and then Germany.

Would be grateful if anyone knows anything.

Not sure about apps, but I did the same route a year ago + Czech Republic and remember that the cheapest petrol was in Belgium by quite a way. Dunno if things have changed, mind. There's this website which you can check to get a general idea (of country/company) but I wouldn't rely on it to find the cheapest petrol station on the route
