It is a big airport, it may take 30 min between gates. If it is one ticket from the same airline you will be OK, I guess, as in that case they usually wait for connecting passengers (or get you on another flight). If you have separate tickets and you don't make it in time you may lose your ticket altogether. You should definitely check with the airlines before booking if it is OK. Reply to this

In January I flew to Argentina from Manchester via Paris, I had only 1h10min layover but because I was with the same airline throughout I only had to walk to my gate which took around 15-20 minutes. I think 1h10mins is sufficient and the airline takes care of the passengers whether there are delays or if one misses their flight. With different airlines, as Inga said, I think it would be different and there's a greater risk of missing the trip if things go wrong. Reply to this

I think it will be fine. KLM will have to take responsibility if, for example, your first flight is delayed and you end up missing your connecting flight they will have to put you on the next flight. I know that KLM and Air France usually have a lot of passengers that connect on their flights so they are committed to depart on time. I've had tight connections but never had any problems. I had a delay once but my connecting flight was held for me. Reply to this
