I have 2-4 days from April 3rd thru April 7th to fit in an extra leg of our Europe trip. My husband and I would REALLY like to get some relaxation/sun on a beach some where. We don't want to spend alot so we are limited to Ryan Air destinations. Flying from Frankfurt to VACATION SPOT and then from VACATION SPOT to England. Any suggestions on where to go for 2-3 days of nice weather?

I looked at Canary Islands, Malaga, Ibiza and Greece. I wasn't sure if any would get warmer than 65/18 degrees. Any thoughts/suggestions?

And if getting some sun is not going to happen, do you have any other suggestions for a fun destination we could fit in? I've already been to Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Pisa, Stockholm & Helsinki. We are open to anything with an affordable airfare : ) Reply to this

Hi

I guess head south as far as you can go.. I think the Canary Islands are between 17 min & 25 max deg..

From Frankfurt you have many options with Ryanair.. Maybe Venice?.. If you are looking to save somey maybe head to either Riga or Kaunas in Eastern Europe. (Dont stay in Kaunas though, Vilnius is one hour away with direct busses from the airport and a nice city)

From Riga and Kaunas you can fly direct to London with Ryanair and also Venice.

Maybe use this Ryanair map.. it could help you decide: http://www.ryanair.com/en/cheap-flight-destinations

Wizz air also fly from Frankfurt to some places and is fairly cheap.. Budapest is a notible choice and wizz air also fly to London from their also..

Good luck...

Hi, be aware that the weather in the Mediterranena region is unpredictable in the beginning of April (could be sunny but also rainy and cold), definitely too early for swimming and beaches. If you are in Frankfurt you don't have to fly, you can go by train. Berlin is a fantastic city, cheap too as European capitals go. Taking the train down to Italy through the Alps is an unforgettable experience, and Milano is worth the trip. Venice is of course a place everyone loves. Other places you could visit are Vienna, Prague and Budapest, I think all these have cheap connections to London (check out Malev for example). My personal favourite is Budapest, great food and wine, beautiful city, spas everywhere. If you still want the swimming go to Canary Islands or mabye Madeira.
For cheap airlines also check Easy Jet and German Wings. Ryanair flies from far out small airports which may be difficult to get to, so check out the connection to the airport before making the final booking. Reply to this
