Hi
I am going to go touring through Europe next year and would like to visit a few vineyards and try some excellent wine, can anyone tell me of any vineyards that aren't to expensive but well worth a visit maybe in the Bordeaux area, although I have heard that the good ones aren't open to the public and there are a few bad ones about, and as I only have 6 days or so in France any advice would be much apreciated to save disapointment

Hello Steve,

In Bordeaux...because there are too much tourist wine tasting...they are now charging for that...and for everything...they also tend to be too proud if you know what I mean...

Visit the Loire Valley...beautiful Castle, sightseeing, and lovely wines: FREE tasting. They ve got White, red, rose, and sparkling wine. Great food too, and a bit less "fatty" than Bordeaux (although the food in Bordeaux is gorgeous) Reply to this
