how to get around with public transport.

hellow, question; is there a way to get around Australie. (from Cairns to the centre then south) with busses, but not the famous party backpacker busses with very young people? not that there is anything wrong with that but it is not my thing (anymore)

Check out Greyhound they run pretty much the length & breadth of Australia and should be just the ticket for you!

Hi, Sophie & Dale.
Thanks for your response, i've been looking for information on Greyhound and Oz experience and I think Greyhound is a better choice for us. We don't have a driver licence but we really wan't to camp somewhere in the outback, do you think that's possible even with Greyhound or any bus company?
