I've read a little about flight couriers. Anyone have any experience, on how to get connected with one?

I head to india, more than likely from Japan, but possibly from Los Angeles. I've read a little about flight couriers. Anyone have any experience, how to get connected with one?

Hello Pathnoway 😊

That used to be a popular way to fly cheaply around 20 years ago. Companies used to pay for some of the couriers flight, if (s)he agreed to take a package and deliver it to someplace in the destination.

I remember a lot of courier opportunities being offered in a magazine that was given out for free in London when I lived there 20 years ago. There might even have been agencies for it.

These days, I doubt it is so popular. For a start, there is the risk of carrying a package that you did not pack, to another country. And, also it is possible to score very cheap flights with using internet search engines, and/or good travel agents, so being a courier is no longer worth bothering with. Being flexible about when you go, is the way to get there cheaply these days.
