Make it stop Mell, make it stop...... As traditional as it is in South Africa, I think it is actually stopping supporters getting behind their team. The Vuvuzeula (not sure of spelling) is ruining the world cup and with the poor standard of football, it's this loud trumpet that is going to be remembered! Come on Uruguay!! (I got them in the pools at work). Reply to this

I am not watching the match, but am guessing that it is at an exciting point for Germany. The vuvuzelas here in the Munich suburb, where I live are going nuts.

In the supermarket accross the street from me, vuvuzelas are free with 6 packs of beer. Except, it is a 5 pack of beer, to make room for the vuvuzela in the box. It is incredible, that people are sacrificing a bottle of beer, just to get their hands on a vuvuzela. I am closing the windows, to try to get some peace.

For once the vuvuzelas are not so annoying, because all the other football celebration noise currently on the street here is so loud, that the vuvuzelas cant be heard over it. They probably are trying to be though. :) Reply to this
