Tell how much you care about the threat of seeing the Salar disappear for lithium mining.

The Salar de Uyuni is the world’s largest untapped lithium reserve possessing almost half the world’s known supply, equivalent to at least 5.4 million tonnes.

What do you think ? Should Man go for profit against Nature, deteriorating the Planet one step further ?

Tourism brings money for everyone while mining ,in 3rd world countries, only brings money for the rich.I work in the mining industry. Here in Australia the Companies want a quality product and they pay well to get it but in 3rd world countries they want the same product but they don't want to pay for it.It is unfortunate they think more of their greed than their childrens futures as it is this attitude that needs to change before these countries will improve.
