ElAustraliano - Paul Morrison

Paul Morrison Some people are drunks or druggies or gamblers ,I'm a traveller. For 25 years I travelled Australia pretty much nonstop.By 2006 my home was too small so I got my passport. So far I've travelled in New Zealand ,UK ,Germany ,Peru ,Bolivia ,Paraguay ,Uraguay ,Argentina ,Chile ,Ecuador ,Colombia and Panama.I have just arrived back in Australia but am already planning my next adventure.
The countdown is for when my Colombian girlfriend ,Yaneth, arrives in Australia to study English before we hit the road next year.

So I went back to Capurgana and it was such a beautiful day ,as the boat was arriving at Capurgana, I looked ashore and realised this is the place I've always dreamt of.I mentioned this to Joey ,the Hawaian owner of my hotel "Darius Cabaņas", and he said "let me wet your appetite".We walked a few hundred metres into the jungle behind the hotel and we stopped at this incredible block of land.Cleared with many different fruit trees and fenced off.It is only 800 sq meteres but it is gorgeous. He said I could have this for US$15000.I looked around Capurgana and [View Full Entry]

Or is Queenstown the San Gil of New Zealand? Either way I had the most incredible time in San Gil.I arrived on the Saturday night n booked into a hotel with bathroom ,double bed and cable TV for only $7 a night.Tried to orgonise a bungee jump for the next day but they wouldn't confirm for 1 person so I orgonised a Paragliding flight for the next afternoon.Spent the next morning looking around n had a swim at the Parque Galleneral. At 1pm I arrived at the Paragliding office and within 20mins 5 of us ,the Instuctor ,Isrealli couple ,Colombian girl and [View Full Entry]

Sitting in the front seat of minibus ,chatting to the driver about his life ,while travelling through the green hills of Central Colombia.Colombian music playing softly while a mother and toddler giggle happily amongst the other passengers in the back.My life is like a dream.I must have been a saint in my last life. Well since last entry I've done a few miles.I got my Ecuadorian Tat done and went to a tourist shop. This was Monday and they told me that the next tour that included walking to the refuge on Cotopaxi wasn't until Saturday.I have wanted to do this walk [View Full Entry]

Just a quick hello for family ect.Was supposed to leave early morning April 20 but somehow a blow up raft with gas bottle went missing from luggage storage.Noone knew if it had been put on our plane or the Melbourne plane. They had to unload all the luggage but there were no baggage handlers working that late to screen the luggage. They handed out forms and said to wqrite a forwarding address for them to send bags.I said I was changing planes ,in Sydney, for Peru. They said they couldnīt guarantee delivery so I would have to get off plane and organise other flight.
