For some unexplanable reason, travel bloggers seem to have a fascination for toilets, so will likely keep sharing. Lucky for you, there are lots of other topics being discussed, so no need for toilet talk. ;)

Dear Toilet freaks,
check ut our eco toilets in Mindegyszer Hungary, built entirely by hand this summer for TestGreenNests eco building exchange! Hundertwasser toilets were our model, as well as traditional hungarian outdoor loo: but with a twist. As soon as the barrel under the loos fills up, we treat it with an alga-bacteria spray, which makes compost, so everything gets recycled in a big hole in the ground a bit farther away in the woods...

Actually, a couple of times when we have been in high end hotels we have taken a photo of the bathroom. It is hard to believe the waste and opulence of some of these toilets. I will look to see if I can find a photo. Reply to this
