Question about getting the Russian Visa.
14 years ago, March 16th 2010 No: 1 Msg: #106605
Hello I will be traveling to Russia in early June and I want to know what is the best and cheapest way to get the Russian Visa and Invite letter. As I understand the Visa alone is not enough to grant permit to enter the country. Has anyone had to obtain these documents recently? Can you recommend me sites, agencies around Los Angeles?

Thanks,

I was just in Russia for 3 months not (Nov-Feb) and got the invite letter from a friend and applied through a 3rd party as requested by the russian embassy in San Fran. Mailed it off and got it back fairly quick.

If you dont have a friend who can write the letter the hotel you are staying at can do it.

You also need to register in person at the local immigration office upon your arrival. I waited 6 hours in line to get this done.

If you have any other questions hopefully i can help 😊 Reply to this
