meeting other travellers in the Greek Islands.
Hello island hoppers! I am in Greece (have been for 2 weeks) and will be until Sept 6th. I am travelling solo but would love to meet up with or even travel with some other folks. (I am on self imposed isolation rejuvenating in Naxos. Yes, I know, not truly isolated, but it is August!) I will be in Mykonos the 18-20th but no plans after that. Let me know if you have any interest. I am active but not too touristy so to speak. I would sign up for 4x4ing and camping just as happily as reserved hotels so please don't hesitate to say hello. Reply to this Forget Naxos. It's a bore. Instead go to Paros for a little more quiet. (I only went to the Cycladic Islands.) Stay on the north end of the island. (or rather, far side from ferry, whatever direction that is.) It has great food and cafes, much more charming than Naxos. Explore the island for nice beaches and even some daytime drinks. Just beware, there are two beaches with the same name. (I can't remember off hand but maybe I mention the name in my Paros blog, you can check that out.) One offers kite surfing, the other a party with on-beach bar and music. Opposite sides of the island. Quite different😊 Rent a scooter to get around!!
