florence is much better in my opinion... sienna is a day trip kind of city
Reply to this I would agree that Sienna is more for a day trip, however the countryside and small villages around Sienna are great to visit. You get of the tourist trail and get a chance to meet some of the locals. Florence is a large city with lots to do. Well worth your time.

Reply to this No question. Florence. Florence is a wonderful city with a lot to offer from famous museums to good restaurants to great shopping. Siena is an easy day trip from Florence, so you can do both! Reply to this Florence all the way and do a day trip to Sienna. We went at Xmas and it was a bit cold in Florence but a great city. Sienna we did in one day easily.

Reply to this Im now in florence and I my said that its beutiful place. Amazing view and a lot of architecturals and nature places to visit. If you want know more about Florence or mayby share some photos with others people you can go to the florence web photoblog http://www.lifebeyondtourism.com/photoblog. You can add photos and see interesting places, get the information about florence etc. For me Florence have more possibylities - cultural and traveling.
