A belated congratulations to Chris on taking the plunge.. you will have the best time and won't look back.
We are coming the opposite way now and come back to the UK in Feb after 20 months away, we have the joys of job hunting to look forward to which will be awful... we don't mind the work part but both hate what you have to go through to get there :o(
Hope you have an amazing trip and we'll look forward to reading all about it when we're sitting at our desks! Reply to this

Many thanks. I've been reading your blog - looks like you've had an amazing time!
I suppose the thought of returning to the rat race is a little depressing. Can't even contemplate that thought yet - but it'll happen to me too eventually. Still, enjoy yourselves while it lasts. Reply to this

Before you go to the US, go to the individual state government pages. I know that with Montana you can get a letter from the governor with all kinds of coupons to use in different places throughout the state. If you get to this area - let me know and I will point out some of the better places. Reply to this

I think we're looking at crossing the border in mid-July.
it's Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Laos, Thailand, onwards. I think a month per country (hopefully more for China but I'll take what I can get) Reply to this

Sounds cool. We may cross paths at some point as we'll be in Asia for 5 months. All the best. Reply to this
