One place I would love to see is Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia. I have never been there, but it looks stunning.

If you make it into the Czech Republic, a great day trip is out to the town of Kutna Hora to see the Sedlec Ossuary, which is a church decorated out of human bones.

If you have never been to see Ephesus in Turkey (not too far from Kusadasi), then take the opportunity and go to see the impressive ruined city that is steeped with so much history. Reply to this

I have recently been to Turkey and would dare say it is so underrated. In Istanbul, it is like being in both Asia and Europe at same time. Istanbul, Ephesus/Kusadaci ,Pamukkale and Cappadocia top my list. Then you can hop over to the Greek islands for good measure. I am sure you will have enough by way of nature, hiking, party and fun covering both Turkey and Greece. Plus, both are very rich in history. Reply to this

Good advice phantek. I will be going to Prague in Jan. for a few days and plan on taking a day-trip or two. I will be going to Cesky Krumlov & Kutna Hora! Glad to hear you recommend it! Reply to this
