Clocks going back this weekend, or is it forward?

Have you even been late or early for something, because of clocks going back or forward by an hour?

Thankfully, I have only been late for the gym once, because of the clocks changing. At least I never missed a flight, because of it. Reply to this

The clocks are definitely going back tonight... I don't think I've ever missed anything because of forgetting to set my watch, and I have no plans for tomorrow so I might sleep with my mobile at the other end of the room and just get up when my body tells me to!

We now have a clock that picks up a signal from the European clock and changes its own time, so we arent confused anymore when the time changes. 😊 Reply to this

My sister once didn't realise for 3 days that the clocks had changed and even contacted the BBC telling them their programmes were alll scheduled at the wrong time and asking why? Lol Reply to this

LOL!
Seems like your sister is a mother with little kids. When you are at home with little kids, days melt into each other, because you are just doing the same child chores everyday. It could easily happen that you dont have enough contact with the outside world to notice the time has changed. :D Reply to this

NZ daylight saving kicked in a few weeks ago - and I managed to be where I was on time that day :-)

I had left my laptop set on NZ time when I was living in Japan (which doesn't have daylight saving), so that was how I remembered NZ time changes.

I wished Japan did adopt daylight saving though - bit hard sleeping when it's fully daylight SO early in the morning!

Mel - Spring forward, Fall back ;-)

Is it just my weirdly wired brain that thinks that Spring back and Fall forward also makes perfect sense?! Reply to this

Thanks Jo 😊 I think, that will certainly help me remember in future. Trying to not remember Debbies line! It will surely make me as confused as ever.

Apparently India has only one time zone, because of the increase in chaos when they tried to have more. Probably they dont have daylight saving, for the same reason. Or do they have it? Anyone know? Reply to this
