Any TBers in Auckland interested in getting together? 3 Oct confirmed

I moved back to Auckland from the other hemisphere, and what do you know - found another TBer living in my neighbourhood!

Jocelyn K B and I met up, and were thinking it would be good to meet any other TBers living in, or passing through, Auckland. So if you're interested in meeting up, post in this thread or send me a PM - and we'll take it from there.
**Change of venue** Due to the not-so-good weather forecast this will now be at De Post Cafe, 466 Mt Eden Rd, Mt Eden, from 12pm. Send me a PM if you're considering coming.

Great Idea, but I won't be there, sniff....wouldn't mind a little sauvignon blanc! Shall we ask Mel or Ali...to start organizing some get-together!
I'm open for Bangkok, Saigon and Shanghai as I'm each of these city every month.

I think you are certainly the get together organiser of TravelBlog. I like meeting people, but I am a bit lazy about organising venues and get togethers etc. I am putting this on the Front Page now, to help gather folk for the NZ get together.

Yeah, why not! If people are interested in Get Togethers, then why not have them. :)

No date set, were just thinking end of Sept to allow a few weeks for people to see it was happening.
A weekend up north is a great idea though for the next one :-)

Yes, I would be keen to catch up with other TBers. Not sure I'd call myself much of a blogger since I have only put the one holiday up here, but I'm hopeful I'll be a better one in the future!! Would be great to meet some other travellers in Auckland. Reply to this
