How is the security at Thalkirchen Campingplatz campsite in Munich. Do they have lockers there to protect your gear?3
I'm going to be staying at the campsite Thalkirchen Campingplatz in Munich during Oktoberfest. I'd be interested in hearing any insight as to the security at this campsite. Do they have any lockers? What have any of you done in the past while staying there? I'm just trying to protect my stuff while I'm at the festival all day. Any insight would be much appreciated, Thanks!

Most camping places and hostels in Germany have lockers at least big enough for money, passport etc. Some have ones big enough for your entire backpack. It should say on their website what their ammenities are. If not, it is probably wise to phone them, because you need to get a place booked pretty soon if you dont want to end up sleeping in the Munich train station. 😉
