I think Dubai is a very modernised city and they are always try to do projects which will put the name of Dubai; number 1 in the world. For adventure trips and cultural ,, people they go outside dubai. It's difficult to do it on your own and i think you SHOULD go through travel agencey. For a couple of nights in Dubai, tourist can do the dessert Safari trip, You can have a day trip or an over night there, Go for Camel riding, Sand boarding and watch the Sunset. You can also go in a trip in the Dhow at night, sit on a tradtional boat made by wood and watch Dubai. Dubai it self have alots of shopping malls, go for Skiing in Emirates Mall, and check the Water Park Wild Wild Wadi in jumairah. Keep in mind that Dubai is expensive. You can also visit Ibn Batuta Mall, Dubai Mall, and The Festival City.
