Kathau Post Count: 48 Msg: #2 122 days ago, July 26th 2009 | Hey, | Zadar is a nice city, with beaches, good food and lots of old roman architecture, which google maps estimates at 7 hours drive from Budapest. The closest city on the coast to you is Rijeka, I've never been there or really heard anything about it though so can't say what it's like. You could just drive down the coastal road between Rijeka and Zadar until you see somewhere you like the look of - I've seen all of that by car before and there are lots of nice looking towns on the way.
