Hello everyone, I am going to Cairo in September of this year and I would like to know how I can go from Cairo by plane to Jerusalem in Israel. I know that's not so far. I would like to know how much it costs normally a ticket to go in the morning and to come back to Cairo late in the evening (one day trip) and the which airlines I should look for. Any names of airlines?
I am looking forward to get some information about.
Greetings,
Mauro César
Reply to this Hello Mauro, I cannot tell you the price, but to get to the major airport, Tel Aviv - you will either have to fly El Al or to fly indirect either via Amman (Royal Jordanian). There is also the option of going via Cyprus.
Unless you go with El Al (which has a very, very early morning flight and returns at an equally early time the next morning) you will not be able to complete a return trip in a day.
PS: I deleted the duplicate post on the Africa forum.
Reply to this Thank you very much for all information given. I just booked the flight from Cairo to Tel Aviv by El Al Israel Airlines. I will leave very early in the morning at 02:45 and I will arrive in Tel Aviv at 05:10am. Well in this way I am going to stay in Israel until the end of my journey. So, I will have more time to visit Jerusalem and Tel Aviv as well. Once again, thanks a lot for all those ones who has helped me with some information! Mauro
Reply to this Great to hear - enjoy your visit! I hope to get to Israel myself one day.
Reply to this You can take flights by Air Sinai or try to get a bus line.
I know that Mazada tours in Israel has a bus line from Jerusalem to Cairo and the other side.
