I'm the type of person that is less interested in art, architecture, you know, the classical "finer" things in life found only in Europe and more so in exercise and sports. I read somewhere that hiking near Merseilles includes beautiful scenery, but I'd like some more suggestions to look into for this. Also, some suggestions on what local foods to buy/bring so that I can have a more genuine experience would be greatly appreciated. I'm also interested in (if exists) museums about French sports and its history.

Hello Haywan 😊

I dont know where the great hiking places are because I dont do much hiking.

About the food, to have the genuine experience I would just be completely openminded and order a different thing every time you go to the restaurants even if you dont know what it is, and buy unusual things in the delis and when you go to the supermarket buy anything that looks interesting that you have not tried yet.
