Trying to get information on Paris campgrounds.
I'm taking my family (6 all told) to Paris for a couple of days in late July. We are very poor . . (sob, sob) . . because the New Zealand dollar is rubbish. It's all but on a par with Zimbabwe money. Camping seems to be a good option but getting info on Paris campgrounds is a bit of a mission. None of them seem to have websites. (How does any tourist business get by without a web site these days?)
I've heard of a camp called Bois de Bologne which is somewhere out La Defence way, but other than a blob on Google Maps I can't find out anything else.
Anyone have information, ideas, recommendations????
Reply to this Hi, whilst I can't give you a lot of information I can tell you about the two I've been to:
Davy Crocket ranch is associated with Disney land Paris... do not go - not near paris and poor pitches (facilities not bad)
Camping International; - A nice camp-site by the side of the sceine with easy access into Paris - is by no means a bad option...
Hope that helps!
Reply to this Thanks for that Christian . . . in fact, a friend of mine has stayed at Camping International and they look like a good option. We can get a mobile home type of thing for about EUR88 a night all in.
