Advice on Ayres Rock Tours
N Posts: 4
Hello
I\'m thinking of doing a 3 day tour from Alice Springs covering Ayres Rock, Kings Canyon etc
Anyone have any recommendations of good tour companies to use? I was thinking of Adventure Tours Australia
Is there anything interesting to see from Alice Springs to Ayres Rock? Or should I join a tour from Ayres Rock [most operators seeem to offer this choice]
Thanks

I absolutely can't say enough great things about WAYOUTBACK tours. I did some real internet research before I went and they seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. It was the best trip I ever had. I did however want to camp....and also experience the real outback....not cruise from site to site in a huge airconditioned bus. Read my blog... Alice Springs and Uluru (Ayers Rock) are quite a distance from each other. Even though you do have the option of staying in either, I would recommend staying in Alice instead of Uluru because there is really nothing much in Uluru (its not a town). I was glad I picked Alice because I went on a few day trips and saw more that way. Reply to this
